Cole contacts Belles and mentions that Selune would like to speak with her about some herbal remedies that she thinks may be helpful. He assists Selune in passing through the trump. She finds herself in an extremely high tech hospital. She can hear a few bells on different instruments dinging and the occasional buzzing sound, but otherwise it is fairly quiet.
Belles looks tired, but smiles warmly at Selune and greets her with a friendly handshake, “Hi. I‘m Isabelle. Most people call me Belles though.”
She says, “First things first. I’m sure you must want to see your brother.”
She leads Selune over to a small room. A man lies sleeping in the bed. He is very pale and both his hands are bandaged. He is hooked up to a few monitors and she can see three different IV solutions rapidly dripping into his veins.
Belles removes the quell spell she’d been using to keep Spence quiet and the man immediately begins to try to get up out of bed muttering something about Quillan and Holden and the end of the earth.
“Spence! Lie down, now. Your sister is here to visit with you,” Belles says sternly.
“Riley?” he says looking around.
He catches sight of Selune and his mouth drops open and he asks, “Selune?”
